Dr. Jen Wortham’s HON 102 (Pathways to Honors) students recently climbed one of the iconic minaret’s in UT’s Plant Hall. Above are some of the pictures. Dr. Wortham is a UT alumnus and didn’t have this opportunity when she was a student here. She noted that her Pathways mentor was able to arrange it, the students loved the opportunity, and she thought it was a great bonding experience for her class.

Honors Activities – Ybor City Tour
Dr. Kacy Tillman took her Pathways class on a tour of Ybor City. Her class’s theme this year is “Tampa Spaces and Places.” The tour included lessons about the city’s history and lunch at Ulele.
Honors Activities – Boat Tour of Tampa
Dr. Kacy Tillman, Associate Director of Honors, recently took her Pathways to Honors students on a history and culture boat tour of Tampa. The tour allows the students to connect the course content with actual locations in Tampa.
