Honors student Megan Darling spent several hours arranging a donation to the Power to the Period campaign from dosomething.org. The service involved making a number of phone calls to make the necessary arrangements, purchasing a variety of products, and delivering the supplies to St. Matthew’s House. Coffee Conversation – How safe is our drinking water?
Dr. Kimberly Dobrinski led a Coffee Conversation discussing the safety of drinking water throughout the US. The students discussed a variety of topics, ranging from inequality in access to water to specific instances of water pollution concerns like those in Flint Michigan.
