Color & Chill

Let’s face it: sometimes you just need to do some mindless coloring with friends to destress as the semester ramps up with projects, papers, and presentations. And what better way to accomplish that than to do so with Honors friends AND donuts? Since it also happened to be Earth Day, students colored earth-themed pages dedicated to raising awareness about stewardship.

All the best to our Honors students who we know are stressing at this time of year: here’s to finishing out the semester strong!

Spreading Hope (for Her)

Honors students gave back to the local community through a service project organized by HEC Service subcommittee chair, Anna Popham. In addition to bringing in much-needed donations for women’s shelter ‘Hope for Her’, students assembled the items in care packages and participated in an art project meant to uplift and encourage. The director of Hope for Her was deeply appreciative of our students’ donations and efforts and Honors is proud of all those students who participated.
