Volunteering in Antigua & Barbuda

Honors student Aron Fields volunteered recently to help refurbish a community center in Cedar Grove in Antigua & Barbuda. Honors students are required to volunteer as part of their involvement in the Honors Program.

Flashlight Tag

The Honors Executive Council organized a game of flashlight tag for the Honors students. Around 20 students participated, along with the Honors Program Directors and their families. Students were found hiding under bushes, in bamboo, and high in trees!

Yoga in Plant Park

Dr. Abraham Miller worked with Campus Recreation to organize a power yoga session for his HON 101 students in Plant Park. On a sunny Wednesday afternoon, one of the yoga instructors led Dr. Miller’s Pathways class through a 45-minute yoga session overlooking downtown Tampa and the Hillsborough River.
