Four Honors students participated in the NCHC’s Partners in the Parks during the summer of 2022. Jillian Richarz went to Acadia National Park in Maine while Gavin Cooper, Juliana Kasmanas, and Emma Werner all went to Glacier National Park in Montana. Phycological Musings – Kevin Beach
UT Biology professor, Kevin Beach, recently gave a symposium reflecting on his research on seaweed. He detailed how important seaweed is for humans and the planet, noting that it is in many of the products we consume and is a major contributor of oxygen in the atmosphere.
