On September 26, members of the University of Tampa Honors Program spent the morning at ZooTampa for a day filled with wildlife, exploration, and community.
Students had the opportunity to step away from the classroom and enjoy everything ZooTampa has to offer while connecting with fellow Honors students. From seeing animals up close to exploring the zoo’s exhibits, the day was a fun way to experience one of Tampa’s favorite destinations together.
Beyond seeing the animals, the event gave students the chance to meet new people, catch up with friends, and build connections within the Honors community. Experiences like these are a reminder that being part of the Honors Program extends beyond academics, it is also about creating meaningful experiences and relationships along the way.
